Follow your aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities, competitive salaries, great benefits, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, a company paid pension plan and profit sharing, all with a company providing the growth and strength to build your future.Hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.This position provides support for the ongoing operation of all production systems, by conducting preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Process, Laboratory, and Analytical Mechanical and Electromechanical Systems, Devices and Utilities. Also assists in coordination of efforts to reduce equipment downtime and support production schedules.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:ASEE degree or equivalent, and a minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of various skids, piping, and systems.Good Mechanical and Electromechanical aptitude, skills, and knowledge. Specific knowledge of process equipment including: autoclaves, fermenters, glass washers, tanks, mixers etc. Working knowledge of high purity water and clean steam systems. Experience with various types of pumps, pumping systems, sanitary piping and related auxiliaries. Familiar with various GMP utilities and systems. Knowledge of PLC's and personal computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access).Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalentAbbott welcomes and encourages diversity in our workforce.
