Also assists in coordination of efforts to reduce equipment downtime and support production schedules.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:ASEE degree or equivalent, and a minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of various skids, piping, and systems.Good Mechanical and Electromechanical aptitude, skills, and knowledge. Specific knowledge of process equipment including: autoclaves, fermenters, glass washers, tanks, mixers etc. Working knowledge of high purity water and clean steam systems. Experience with various types of pumps, pumping systems, sanitary piping and related auxiliaries. Familiar with various GMP utilities and systems. Knowledge of PLC's and personal computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access).Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalentAbbott welcomes and encourages diversity in our workforce.
