SENIOR QUALITY ENGINEER

 

 

ev3, neurovascular division, has opportunities for Quality and Senior Quality Engineers.  ev3 is a growing medical device development and manufacturing organization located in Irvine.  This is a great opportunity to contribute to a dynamic Quality Team!   · Provides Quality Engineering support and leadership to ensure the successful development of ev3 products and design assurance · Identifies and manages risk throughout the development process with the use of FMECA and/or other risk management tools.  · Provides input to design and manufacturing documentation including material specifications, drawings, inspection procedures, and manufacturing procedures, to ensure that the resulting products can be adequately manufactured and tested · Designs and installs quality process sampling systems, procedures and statistical techniques

  · Assures compliance to FDA, ISO and internal Quality Standards for product development and manufacturing   · Conducts training and supervises other engineers and inspection personnel on Quality tasks

 



BS degree in Engineering, Physical or Life Sciences is required. The Sr. Quality Engineer requires a minimum of five years of Quality Assurance experience in the medical device industry.
