SENIOR QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER

Designs, evaluates and implements Quality Assurance programs and systems for Manufacturing and Quality Control to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsible for leading the investigation and resolution of assigned quality issues. Works with other QA Engineers, Quality and Manufacturing to create and/or modify metods and procedures to ensure that appropriate tests are conducted and that product, materials and manufacturing equipment meet required standards. Develops, applies, revises, maintains and leads these activities for quality standards for product and equipment, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or production equipment. Analyzes reports and returned products and recommends corrective action. Prepares documentation for inspection/testing procedures. Performs internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO and QSR procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelors degree (minimum) in biostatistics, chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology or other related discipline and 4 or more years of relevant quality experience. Professional quality certification is desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of scientific principles. Through knowledge of QSR regulations and applicable international regulatory requirements is required. Familiarity with QSR, ISO, CE, Manufacturing and Engineering operations and working knowledge of statistical techniques is required. Training as an internal auditor is preferred.
