JOB Description:Clinical SAS Programmer (2 Openings ) Job Summary: This position will be responsible for proficiently handling all phases of clinical programming using SAS: data assimilation, data management, data cleanup, data querying, analysis, report generation, and study transports. Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following: providing ongoing programming support from study start to post database lock while ensuring compliancy with standard operating procedure (SOP); adherence to timelines; interacting with Biostatistics, Data Management, Clinical Operations, Publications, and Research and Development staff. Job Requirements/Expectations: -Minimum of five years working experience in a clinical SAS programmer roll -Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, or mathematics -Review annotated case report forms and provide feedback to study database administrator -Review edit check specifications and provide feedback to study data manager -Develop, validate, and modify SAS edit check programs -Fulfill ad hoc requests -Create analysis data sets and program summary tables, data listings, and graphs per specifications -Maintain responsibility and accountability for programs, associated data, output, validation results, and documentation -Represent Clinical SAS Programming in project team meetings -Develop SAS macros and tools Job Preferences: -Working knowledge of CDISC standards -Working knowledge of MedDRA coding dictionary -Working knowledge of auto coding algorithms -Working knowledge of ClinPlus® Data Management and ClinPlus® Coding -Working experience with electronic data capture (EDC) -Working experience in the medical device industry Attributes: -Excellent organizational skills -Ability to work in a team-oriented environment to complete all projects and tasks in assigned timeframes -Highly effective verbal communication skills -Excellent attention to detail -Excellent initiative If you would like to be considered for this opportunity, please forward your resume to the email address provided below.
