This site is located in Orlando, Florida. In addition, as part of the Shared Service Center, there are Distribution Centers on the East and West Coasts. To support our success and continued growth, we have an excellent opportunity for a SAP FI/CO Business Analyst for North America.Working within the Global SAP team, this individual will be responsible for system support, issue resolution and enhancements; they will take part in approved projects and tasks primarily within the Finance and Controlling areas of SAP in Orlando Florida. Individual will be the liaison with users on the business requirements, and also reviews and agrees on the details of the technical requirements to be provided. They will be responsible for delivering working solutions and supporting them during and after implementation. Areas of responsibilities include working across all areas of Inverness Medical Innovations SAP systems.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:• Gathers detailed requirements from business users for approved projects and small enhancements to existing projects and ensures they meet the transactional system requirements. • Performs design for approved projects and small enhancements to existing projects• Ensures that all system developments are implemented without any major disruption to the business. • Assesses technical requirements and liaises with appropriate technical support team on the approach and resources necessary to fulfill the requirements.• Maintains communication with other colleagues or joint user/system teams to ensure that cross functional requirements are compatible with overall business needs and that they can be integrated.• Where appropriate, ensures that system development and implementation is carried out in full accordance with the approved control procedures and standards. • Ensures that requirement specifications include the relevant control mechanisms necessary to conform to Inverness Medical Innovations Audit and legislative guide-lines.• Ensures realistic test plans for the testing of all new applications prior to implementation and monitors the execution of those plans.• Oversees availability of adequate system documentation.• Monitors both technical and business developments to ensure Inverness Medical Innovations exploits all relevant new opportunities. • Together with the FI/CO business analyst and North America SAP manager, recommends and implements new processes and tools.• Provides support for the SAP system in the areas of Finance and Controlling.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 to 5 years SAP experience in Finance business applications with at least 3 years experience in SAP R/3, with strong focus on Financial Accounting and Controlling modules. Expertise in configuration and testing of FI / CO modules – General Ledger ( FI-GL), Accounts Receivable ( FI-AR), Accounts Payable ( FI-AP), Banking, Fixed Assets, Enterprise Controlling(EC), Cost center Accounting ( CO-OM_CCA), Profit Center Accounting ( PCA ) and Internal Orders ( IO ). Experience in integration of FI / CO with SAP R/3 Sales and Distribution and Materials Management modules.Strong Knowledge of Financial accounting. Experience in testing, Go live, Post Go live Support.Core Competencies• Individual should have good levels of self confidence, team commitment, learning from experience, as well as customer focus and motivation. In addition they should have practical creativity, analytical ability, leading by example and be able to develop others.• Strong oral and written communication skills.
