SAP Consultant - Supply Chain-SCM (APO)

Job DescriptionProvide technical and business process support for Supply Chain primary emphasis on SAP in the area of Planning and Scheduling in SAP's SCM toolset. This includes providing process expertise as well as guidance in application of tools available to reach Supply Chain's Goals. Primary SAP functionality supported would be in one or several of the following areas; Demand Planning, Supply Network Planning and Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling. This also includes a support of related processes in R/3, master data settings and core interface. Work directly with SAP identifying and resolving 'bugs', as well as requesting improvements in functionality. Develop Functional Design Specifications to change existing or develop new ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and documents. Work with SAP development or reporting team to ensure that the development efforts are thoroughly tested and overall system integrity is maintained. MUST HAVE:A technical degree with working knowledge of business process knowledge, especially in supply chain management. Skills in troubleshooting/problem solving, quality assurance, documentation, systems analysis, and design. Minimum 2-3 years SAP experience. A strong knowledge of the integration points and data flow between given modules and the other SAP modules. Candidate must be self-motivated, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work well in a team setting consisting of both business and technical personnel world-wide. Candidate must be results-oriented, adaptable to change, a quick learner with strong ability to self-learn, motivated to stay current on changing technology, and have ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities under time pressure. Candidate must also be willing to travel. Candidate must be willing to relocate.DESIRED:Experience working in a Supply Chain process role. Project Management Experience SAP experience including advanced knowledge of configuration and functional knowledge of at PP/MM and SCM DP or SNP or PP/DS. Other Module development experience.
