SAP Business Intelligence Lead Work Location: Not ApplicableShifts: Not ApplicablePositions Available: 1Position Summary Under general direction of the Manager - Enterprise Information Management, responsible for leading the design, development and support of the enterprise-wide ERP BI/BW solution as well as providing technical leadership to the SAP BW/BI development team. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Overall leadership responsibility for the technology solution architecture, design, delivery and support of the Business Intelligence environment within the current SAP ERP Business Transformation initiative. Builds Center of Excellence to support BI/BW implementation, including best practices, engagement policies, etc. Makes decisions on best approach and tools used to support requirements to include Dashboarding, scorecarding, and ad-hoc reporting. Supports the full life cycle implementation of SAP. Cultivates and maintains an on-going partnership with executive business owners, maintaining knowledge of business operations, strategies, information requirements, and priorities. Works across the ABC IT and BT functions to seamlessly integrate solutions that meet and enable business priorities. Supports data quality initiatives to ensure high quality BI solutions including development of data and information quality metrics. Assesses business needs to determine if requirements are operational tactical or strategic in nature and provides recommendations for appropriate solutions. Works with other technical teams and external vendors to ensure BI environment is supported; this includes performance tuning and troubleshooting. Creates testing methodology and criteria; designs and coordinates a curriculum for coaching and training customers in the use of business intelligence tools to enhance business decision-making capability. Works with management to understand and prioritize data and information requirements. Solves complex technical problems. Develops standards, policies and procedures for the forum, structure and attributes of the business intelligence tools and systems. Performs related duties as assigned. Experience and Education Requirements Bachelors (BS/BA) degree required (Computer Science or related field); normally requires a minimum of seven (7) years directly related and progressively responsible experience managing large, highly-complex projects; ERP implementation experience strongly preferred; ten (10) to twelve (12) years of Business Intelligence experience; four (4) to six (6) years experience with SAP BI/BW (including BI 7 X) with hands on experience with Administrator Workbench, InfoProviders, SAP BW Data Modeling, Business Objectives and OutlookSoft; three (3) to five (5) years experience in Data Modeling, preferably in support of SAP BW/BI implementations; three (3) to five (5) years experience using ETL tools and related methodologies and approaches; SAP Netweaver components experience. Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements Strong knowledge of SAP BW toolset including creating InfoObjects, Infocubes, DSO, MultiProviders, Infosources, DTPs, APD, and Datasources Knowledge and experience with BEx preferred and Business Objects (Crystal); Microstrategy is nice to have.
