The position has full responsibility for development, communication and analysis of retail plans, priorities and workload assessments. Strong leadership skills, decision-making ability, and strong analytics make this a pivotal role for RB. Translates category and account strategies into tactical plans for retail implementation. Working with the NSD - Field Sales, other RPM's, Customer Teams and Trade marketing on inputs; retail priorities are developed into a workload plan for the field team to implement. The RPM ensures an ongoing communication process regarding retail plans and analytical feedback that should be long term and dynamic in nature.
Proactively seek inputs in conjunction with LSM's from Customer Teams, Trade Marketing and Senior Management to develop retail priorities/long term plans for retail executionWork with other RPM's and Director on developing workload capacities and appropriate retail coverage and service utilization.Analyze retail data and provide actionable feedback to the business and customer teams with recommendations for continuous improvementSpend time in the field to evaluate appropriateness of retail planContinuous optimization of call concept coverageConsolidation of conflicting priorities to develop an overall plan reflecting overall business priorities within and amongst customersMatching specific customer and brand priorities with realistic appropriate workload capacities.Insuring retail plans accomplish business objectives.Insure Customer Teams provide accurate, timely complete information/inputs to plans.Develop a Dynamic two-way communication system.Measure/evaluate results and incorporate key learning in future activities and plans BS degree with 5-8 years experienceExperience with a blue chip fast moving consumer goods company with at least 3 years proven track record and sales experience with key international or local retailersTrade Marketing experience essentialExperience influencing and engaging key figures in customer organizationsHigh exposure to data and analytical techniques, for example Category ManagementAdditional functional experience, preferably in Marketing, and/or Finance is an advantageResults oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivatingTenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstaclesLeadership and interpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships and influencing and customers and internal teamsStrong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issuesStrong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation
