Each Clinical Research Unit has a dedicated team of professionals, including physicians, scientists, project managers, nurses and recruiters - whose mission it is to bring the miracles of medicine to market sooner.We are currently searching for a Research Technician, for our Austin, Texas facility to perform the practical/administrative activities of clinical trials in Clinical Pharmacology in line with protocol and regulatory requirements.In this position your main responsibilities will be to: Accurately perform blood pressure, blood draws, weights, pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature readings Prepare and accurately record ECGs/Holters Collect and process biological samples as specified in the protocol Monitor meals to ensure dietary compliance by research participants Assist in the preparation of rooms and medical equipment Assist with QC of source documents and case report forms Experience: Associates degree in related field and 1 year of clinical research experience may be substituted for BS degree High School diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years as a Clinical Research Technician I may be substituted for BS degree Education: BS degree in related field Phlebotomy experience and certification is strongly desired Covance believes that their best-in-class employees deserve first-class benefits.
