Research Technician II (1 of 4) - (Job Number: 0808895) DescriptionAdvanced Sterilization Products a member of Johnson && Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Research Technician II, located in Irvine, CA. Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP) Division of Ethicon, Inc. is a leading innovator of technologies in the areas of sterilization, high level disinfection, cleaning of medical devices, and hand hygiene. ASP markets STERRAD® Systems, the CIDEX® Family of Products, and PREVACARE® Antimicrobial Hand Gel. The company is focused on hospitals and surgery centers Under general supervision, performs routine and non-routine, and complex physical and/or chemical testing, working independently in performing majority of assignments. The assignments may involve responsibility for planning and conducting a complete project of limited scope or a portion of a large and more diverse project. The candidate may operate highly sophisticated equipment or instrumentation and computes and analyzes test data. The candidate prepares reports on findings and makes recommendations. The candidate must have a Bachelors degree in a physical science with zero to two years related job experience. The candidate must have general Chemical lab knowledge and FTIR or Microbiology experience is desirable. Must have a clear understanding of lab safety. This candidate must have good sample handling and manipulation experience, be detail oriented and have good documentation/good manufacturing practices. The candidate must be willing to work flexible shifts including weekends as needed.
