Research Technician Cell Biology

Opportunity to join a small, growing biotechnology services company located in Downtown Boston, MA. The candidate will be responsible for daily cell culture operations. Cells are used for a variety of cell assays and production of cellular products. Candidate will participate in evaluating and/or establishing new cell culture technologies, as well as general laboratory support for peptide synthesis and antibody purification. Candidate must work well as a member of a highly interactive team. This position requires good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.  Other duties will include providing assistance in general lab responsibilities such as making media, buffers, ordering lab supplies and reagents, and communicating with sales and service representatives.

 

The ideal candidate would have a BA/BS with a cell biology/biochemistry background. Experience in cell culture is preferred but willing to train.

 

Full Time
