Research Technician-AIDS Immunology
The Division of Viral Pathogenesis at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center has a position for a research technician with 1-4 years of experience working in a large, dynamic laboratory studying basic science and clinical aspects of candidate AIDS vaccines. Duties include monitoring of AIDS immunopathogenesis and vaccine studies. Successful candidates should have a B.A./B.S. Previous experience in BL-2 work procedures, functional lymphocyte assays, and flow cytometry analysis is desirable. Extensive training in state-of-the-art flow cytometry will be available to select and motivated individuals. Applicants interested in a long-term commitment (at least for two years) are preferred. If desired, qualified applicants are supported obtaining a Master’s degree (i.e. Immunology program via Harvard Extension School).
