Research Support - Associate Biologists (2)
Southern Research is currently seeking to fill positions for two Associate Biologists. Qualified candidates will be responsible for providing study support by assisting in the planning, scheduling, and execution of study tasks; coordinating the execution of study activities; compiling and evaluating data; and assist in preparing study reports.
Individuals in this role will work closely with assigned project team members and lead investigators. BSL-2 experience required and BSL-3 experience preferred but not required. Knowledge in basic laboratory techniques and laboratory safety required. Individuals must possess a willingness for flexibility and cross-training in multiple disciplines; must be a team player but have the acumen to work alone and make good decisions. BSl-2 and BSL-3 benchwork to include microbiology, immunology and molecular biology.
The qualified candidates will provide assistance in protocol development, study designs, study reports, analyzing data, work closely within a team-based environment, have confidence to work alone when needed with the ability to make good decisions, work well under pressure within time constraints, and communicate effectively with others and demonstrate good writing skills, and pay close attention to detail.
