Business/Strategic Management Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Company: Campbell Alliance Group Research Information Specialist (Library Science) We are currently seeking an experienced information professional to join our Research Services team. The Research Analyst/Consultant will work within a group of experienced pharmaceutical and business researchers who conduct in-depth research in support of important internal initiatives and external projects. In this role, the Research Analyst/Consultant will interpret information requirements based on an understanding of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare industries; identify appropriate information resources; design and execute complex search strategies; analyze and summarize findings; and present the results in a variety of formats as required.This position requires demonstrated expertise conducting online searches of commercial and publicly accessible information resources relevant to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare industries. These include pharmaceutical pipeline databases, such as ADIS R&D Insight and Pharmaprojects, and medical literature databases, such as Medline and EMBASE. A thorough knowledge of business information resources is also required. The successful candidate will have a strong customer service orientation, the ability to manage shifting priorities and competing deadlines, and the flexibility required to work in a very demanding and fast-paced environment. An ALA-accredited master's degree in library science is required. Work experience with a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company, is preferred.
