Research AssociateThe candidate will work within a research team supporting the development of new viral based products. The research will involve developing molecular and biochemical assays for next generation therapeutics and characterizing the properties of current viral vectors. It will also entail developing new cell lines for use in preclinical tumor models. The candidate will assist in the design and execution of these studies, as well as in the preparation, analysis and presentation of the results. Requirements A degree in life sciences with at least 2 years of professional experience that includes cell line development, ELISA based assays, FACS operation, and skills with protein analysis and DNA construct design. Experience with preclinical tumor models a plus. The candidate should be organized and detail-oriented, possess excellent record-keeping and communication skills, and demonstrate flexibility to work in a start-up environment.
