Research Assistant I / Laboratory Technician (Part-Time)

Position Title:  Research Assistant I / Laboratory Technician (Part-Time) @ John Wayne Cancer Institute Saint John's Health Center

The qualified person will assist the laboratory director and laboratory staff in setting up and in conducting cell and molecular biology and biochemistry experiments in a highly technical cancer research laboratory environment.  Order, receive, and log-in materials and supplies, maintain tissue culture cell stocks, dispose of biohazardous and laboratory radiolabeled waste compounds.  Must perform tasks such as cell culture in aseptic environment.  B.S. or equivalent and 6 months to 1 year laboratory experience.
