Research Assistant I
The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI) was founded in 1961, and is one of the largest private, non-profit biomedical research facilities in the country with over 3,000 employees. Research Assistant I (0101909)
Position Description:
Will be involved in developing processes to concentrate cells, assist in developing or designing new processes and equipment, identify and implement new technologies to continuously improve processes. Will assist in setting-up equipment and executing defined experimental protocols, perform data collection analysis and generate reports and presentations.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant scientific discipline (Bioengineering, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred); and 1-4 years experience. Master's degree with 0-2 years experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
A fundamental understanding of design controls. An approach to problem solving, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
