RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Disassembles, cleans, repairs, and reassembles manual and electronic pipettes as well as competitor pipettes. Inspects incoming units for defects and ensures all repair work meets established quality standards. Completes related paperwork. Expedites priority orders.

·Reassembles and calibrates pipettes. Executes customer instructions specific to their order. Contributes in meeting the established turn-around-time goals.

·Follows all protocols and calibration procedures for pipettes and equipment. Tests, evaluates, and calibrates pipettes to specifications.

·Conducts quality audits on pipettes during calibration to ensure each unit meets repair quality standards.

. Conducts and performs confirmation of failed units and ensures the proper documentation of information is recorded.

 

. Performs on-site pipette repair and calibration activities as needed at local customer locations.

. Trains on Customer's local procedures and internal processes

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum of three months’ related experience with Manufacturing, Instrumentation, Packaging, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and prior work experience. Previous knowledge or work experience with pipettes helpful. Should have a basic knowledge of computers. Working knowledge of File Maker Pro; MS Excel, MSOutlook and MS Word preferred.
