Perform all site development activities: site selection, monitoring and close-out for assigned clinical trial investigator sites in accordance with customer expectations, GSK operating procedures /monitoring expectations and GCPs. Manage regionally based resourcing assignment as delegated by Monitoring Manager. Understand study objectives and accomplishments in a matrix and line team environment. Resolve complex monitoring and regulatory issues through discussion with monitoring staff, project staff, and/or other GSK departments. Understanding of how clinical studies are executed and attention to meeting critical study milestones. Demonstrated knowledge of the conduct of clinical research; Working knowledge of GCP regulations; excellent technical expertise and computer skills. Consultant will be handling 15-18 sites and travel is up to 70% with occasional overnight travel.Requirements: 3 years minimum CRA/monitoring experience with STRONG experience monitoring oncology studies. Contract experience a MUST. Four-year Degree in Life Sciences or 4-year professional degree in life science/medical. Must be located in Southern, IL, St. Louis, MO or Kansas City, KS.
