Job description
The Refrigeration / HVAC Technician will be responsible for maintenance and repair of climate controlled rooms for the Life Science and Pharmaceutical Industry.
Responsibilities
Preventative maintenance and repair of refrigeration and HVAC equipment for climate controlled walk-in rooms
Replace and repair of components on direct expansion valve refrigeration systems as well as humidification and dehumidification systems
Perform equipment start-ups and tuning of refrigeration systems and humidification systems
Perform control upgrades and retrofits
Requirements
5 years plus working knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC systems
Ability to troubleshoot and repair refrigeration and HVAC apparatus
A strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
EPA certified for handling of refrigerant
Valid driver’s license
Good customer service skills
Self Motivated
