Job SummaryManage the implementation of AstraZeneca strategic staffing strategies, plans and initiatives to deliver recruitment and selection support in partnership with hiring managers, HR Business Partners and external vendors to identify and hire diverse global talent. Partner with Business Leaders and HR staff to assess internal and external environment and plan staffing requirements to meet business needs. Develop and manage Recruitment staff and resources assigned to support the global functional areas, leveraging the global recruitment capabilities. Major Responsibilities:·Manage a team of Lead Recruitment Partners, Executive Recruitment Partners, Recruitment Partners and Talent Search Partners (where applicable) to include performance planning, on-going coaching and feedback, development and performance review and reward. Leverage global recruitment capabilities to create developmental opportunities for team members ·Analyze the current market trends and future industry challenges to build a comprehensive sourcing strategy that leverages both active and passive candidate sourcing. Identify and build relationships with key external search, contingency and research firms, institutions and professional industry groups. Manage external vendors as required. ·Develop and execute a functional recruitment strategy including an environmental scan, talent assessments, workforce analytics, sourcing strategy and workforce plan. Ensure alignment and sponsorship of functional business leadership. Share information with global recruitment managers as required. ·Periodically lead strategic searchs for key high level roles (Band F/7and above). Develop strategic working relationships with Talent and Strategic Workforce Planning team. ·Be seen by the Business Leadership as an expert in specific functional recruitment area including market intelligence, relevant associations and institutions, college programs, leading search firms, etc. ·Ensure integrity of the overall Recruitment process. Ensure that clients are provided screened, qualified and diverse candidate pools. Ensure hiring manager planning and decision meetings are well designed and executed. ·Awareness and alignment of global recruitment philosophy and processes not limited to sourcing strategies, reorganizations, marketing, job posting, hiring manager planning and decision meetings, etc. ·Use key metrics to drive hiring behaviors of Recruitment Partners, Talent Search Partners, Hiring Managers, and Business Leadership Teams. Leverage scorecards to monitor effectiveness of Recruitment Partners and Talent Search Partners as well as the success of recruitment initiatives and effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make adjustments as necessary. Leverage continuous improvement techniques and lean ways of working to increase effectiveness and lower costs. ·Ensure compliance to the overall Recruitment Process including internet applicant tracking, EEO compliance (US only), vacancy files, completion of data in applicant tracking system, etc. ·Integrate overall functional strategies and workforce plans with College Recruiting (dependent on regional requirements), Recruitment Operations and Marketing and External Resource teams. ·Collaborate with HR Partners, Business Leaders, and Recruitment Leadership Team to identify, develop and implement diversity recruitment initiatives in support of company diversity objectives. Develop and coach Recruitment Partners in use of diversity search tools and development of diversity goals within the functional workforce plans. (US only) ·Ensure visibility of recruitment activity and business drivers with global colleagues. Support sourcing initiatives for other countries as required. ·Partner with recruitment marketing to develop targeted marketing strategy for area of accountability. ·Provide input to departmental budget input and manage to budget requirements ·Support and lead Recruitment projects using the AZ project framework as requiredResponsibilities·Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience ·5-7 years of significant experience in Human Resource field including broad experience in sourcing and staffing and in-depth experience in developing and implementing recruitment and selection processes. Demonstrated ability to assess business needs and talent markets and to develop recruitment strategies, programs and tools in support of business objectives ·Significant experience of managing staff, departmental budgets and contracted and partnership relationships. Experience planning, implementing and monitoring departmental strategies and objectives. Ability to develop, analyze and evaluate team & individual objectives and to interpret and communicate progress and results. ·Experience and advanced knowledge in use of broad range of recruitment and sourcing tools including: Web-based services, networking, cold-calling, candidate identification and screening, research, contingent & retained search consultants and outplacement firms ·Ability to build relationships by partnering with business leaders, hiring managers and HR community ·Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams; collaboration skills, ability to share responsibilities for results, provide and accept feedback; request and provide support; and represent team plans and decisions ·Skill in soliciting input and evaluating business, client and candidate needs and addressing concerns and complaints. Ability to influence clients and colleagues, deliver constructive advice, diagnose and resolve problems and positively influence change ·Ability and willingness to travel locally and nationally to support recruitment activities and programs ·Flexibility to work in a rapidly changing and challenging environment.
