Position Overview

In conjunction with hiring managers, the Recruiter/HR Generalist will recruit, interview, screen and evaluate candidates. This individual will coordinate advertising (paper, Internet, recruiters), schedule interviews, test applicants, verify employment and references, and prepare offer and rejection letters. In addition, he/she will coordinate resources such as temporary employees and relocation services.

 

Within a team-oriented environment, the Recruiter/HR Generalist will develop and maintain recruitment postings, logs and regulatory reporting as assigned, plus create and implement detailed recruitment strategies/plans for all openings. This individual will participate in developing Affirmative Action goals with hiring managers, and in the recruitment and retention planning process for BioReliance globally. Scope of work will also include development of calendars and recruitment materials, and representing BioReliance at job fairs, open houses, college recruitment tours, etc. 

 

Education Requirements

B.A./B.S. in Business Administration, Human Resources, or other related discipline, or the equivalent knowledge and experience is required. 

 

Experience Requirements

Effectiveness in this role requires functional knowledge of corporate operations and product lines. Requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional-level human resources recruiting experience as well as experience in other HR disciplines and familiarity with applicable state and federal regulations. Demonstrated organizational and creative problem solving skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. User-level working knowledge of HR information systems is preferred. Working knowledge of common HR concepts, practices and procedures is strongly preferred. A Biotech background is a plus.
