REGISTERED NURSES NEEDED-WILL TRAIN!!!

Biomat USA, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Grifols, Inc.,  is seeking Registered Nurses for its two Bakersfield, California locations.

 

Biomat USA, Inc. operates 63 Plasma Donor Centers within the USA.  Human plasma is used to create life saving medicines for bleeding disorders, immune system deficiencies, burns and shock. 

 

Candidate will provide medical coverage, advice, and assistance in donor issues of safety, health, and suitability.

 

Job Profile:

 

Duties will include pre-donation health screening including the measurement of blood pressure, pulse, hematocrit, and weight. This  state of the art facility will collect blood-plasma from paid donors for manufacture into life-saving pharmaceutical products.  The ability to interact with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds is required.  Previous experience is not required.  Industry specific training provided. Ensure accuracy and thorough documentation of necessary records.  Maintain thorough familiarity with State and Federal Regulations, FDA approved Standard Operating Procedure Manual, EMEA, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP as well as all internal company procedures.  Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner, and report all equipment in need of repair.  Maintain supplies necessary to perform all job duties.

 

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse - to practice in the state of California

CPR certification must be current

Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Must be computer literate

 

Physical requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time
