R&D Development Engineer
R&D Development Engineer for an international manufacturer of medical devices who is a leader in its field. The position is located at a facility in north Georgia, commutable to Atlanta.
A BSME, Bio-Medical or similar engineering degree is required from an ABET accredited college or university along with 5+ years of experience in new product / process development in the medical device industry.
Must be proficient in Solidworks, Pro E, Catia, Unigraphics or other 3D system.
Must have experience in designing metal and plastic components and in the processes for manufacturing such components.
Will develop new products and improve existing products. Will work closely with marketing, physicians and vendors to develop new and innovative designs. Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
