R&D Chemist

A personal care products manufacturer in the Los Angeles area is looking for a Formulation Chemist to work in support of their Research and Development Department.

Essential Job Duties will include:

Actively participate in new product development through hands-on bench formulation.

Provide support to Production as needed in commercialization of new products.

Perform stability studies on new on existing products.

Must have basic knowledge of GMP procedures, record keeping and ability to write mixing procedures as needed.

 

Required Education/Skills:

Must have B.S. degree in a science field PLUS minimum of 4 yrs. experience of related job experience.

Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

Basic computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook, etc.
