Quality Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a detail oriented individual who is driven and focused on quality to join our team as Quality Improvement Specialist.

 

You will contribute to organizational success by executing quality improvement projects throughout the organization.  The incumbent will analyze the necessary areas targeted for improvement to define the scope of each project as well as develop action plans and timelines for completion of each project.  In addition you will partner with managers and other operational staff to ensure that the new processes are integrated into the existing quality system.  Once implemented, you will monitor these new processes for effectiveness and continual improvement.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following:

 

· Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, business or quality related field

· 1 to 3 years experience in a role implementing quality improvement or Six Sigma projects.

· Demonstrated change management skills: strong written and verbal communication, influencing without authority, organizational, presentation and facilitation.

· Proven ability to review and analyze data to draw business conclusions and support decisions.

· Intermediate to advanced skill in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and familiarity with a statistical program such as Minitab or an Excel add in.

· Knowledge of laboratory science, ISO regulations, GCP, CAP, other FDA regulations is preferred.

· Experience with quality tools and techniques such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Total Quality Management (TQM), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), and Six Sigma is ideal.
