Quality Engineer - Medical Device Experience

Kelly Scientific Resources is currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to work for a highly reputable biotech company in the Atlanta area. This candidate will be responsible for providing manufacturing and validation process support in accordance with documented procedures and practices. This is a SIX MONTH CONTRACT assignment. Additional responsibilities include: ' Ensure validation of equipment based on process capabilities and manufacturing/inspection methods ' Develop and review Process Validation Plans, IQ, OQ, PQ, and PPQ protocols as needed ' Interface with contract manufacturers and internal departments to assure quality and reliability of the products and processes during manufacturing ' Work with suppliers to improve and maintain quality of products ' Develop policies, standard operating procedures, component specifications, materials flow and finished product specification as needed to define the validation program Education and Experience Required: ' BS Degree in Engineering and scientific related discipline ' Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Engineering role working with cGMP in a medical device company ' Experience writing, executing, and completing validation studies ' Ability to assemble equipment correctly and operate equipment ' Experience with Kay Validator' Working knowledge in validation principles and statistical analysis techniques ' Strong written and verbal communication skills ' Excellent customer service skills, organizational skills, and attention to details ' Proficiency in MS Word and Excel Everyday, Kelly Scientific Resources connects scientific professionals with opportunities to advance their careers.
