The portfolio includes heritage brands JOHNSON&'S Baby and BAND-AID Brand, as well as leading skin care brands such as AVEENO and CLEAN && CLEAR.The Quality Engineer III will be responsible for providing overall quality assurance leadership in the management of select, moderately complex, contract manufacturing sites engaged in the production of topical OTC drugs, medical devices, and/or cosmetic formulations for J&&J Consumer Products && Personal Products. This person will support established Contract Manufacturing sites via conducting cGMP audits, driving compliance && quality improvement initiatives, assisting resolution of process/product non-conformance events, monitoring/resolving complaints, reviewing annual drug product review reports, reporting contract manufacturer performance metrics and conducting management reviews. This person will represent QA on new project and improvement teams by guiding sourcing decisions, qualifying new suppliers, setting quality/compliance requirements, development of SOP's && specifications, and technical transfer/validation support. A minimum of a Bachelor&'s Degree in a scientific discipline is required; an MBA is desired. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in Pharmaceutical, OTC Drug and/or Cosmetic Quality Engineering. Process Excellence (Six Sigma) and/or ASQ certifications are desirable. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project. A good understanding of standard statistical principles, theories, concepts, and techniques is required. Must have excellent prioritization, communication and leadership skills. Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take full ownership and responsibility for quality of work. This position will be located in Skillman, NJ.
