We're seeking a hands-on team player to join our Quality group as a Quality Control Chemist at our Lakewood, NJ facility.
The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for conducting routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished products according to standard operating procedures.
Other duties will include: complies data for documentation of test results; reviews and verifies laboratory data generated by other personnel; calibrates and/or maintains laboratory equipment; performs instrumental analysis in accordance with standard test methods and compendial procedures; participates in SOP review/revision process; may perform special projects on analytical and instrumental problem solving; adheres to company SOPs and practices GMPs on a daily basis; normally receives minimal instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments; works on problems of diverse scope where analysis or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors; performs other duties as assigned.
Candidates must have at least 2+ years of relevant experience in a laboratory environment; BS in scientific discipline; exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action; proficient use of personal computer (MS Word, Excel, Windows, etc.); possesses good communication and interpersonal skills.
