QC Manager

This opportunity is with a pharmaceutical company.  The individual in this position will supervise the day-to-day operations of the QC laboratory.  Experience managing product release activities such as stability, investigations, deviation management, and other routine activities related to the production of pharmaceutical products is required.  Responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to, technical and regulatory oversight, supervision of the lab staff, and the scheduling and timely execution of activities to meet project timelines.   Qualified individuals will have at least a BS/MS in a scientific discipline, as well as 5+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.  At least 2+ years of supervisory/management experience within QC is required.  Candidates must be knowledgeable of HPLC and dissolution techniques and be able to operate within a cGMP environment.  Excellent teamwork and communication skills, both oral and written, are a must.
