Purchasing Manager Description of Duties:Manage all aspects of the purchasing function. This will include MRO and Capital purchasing as well as Direct Material purchasing. Manage all purchasing goals which include cost savings, supplier management scorecard goals, Global initiatives, and other goals as specified. Set purchasing cost reduction goals in accordance with company initiatives and direct staff toward achieving those goals. This position works closely with all major departments throughout BVL and other BI operating units. Qualifications/Experience:Position requires Bachelor’s degree in business/and or a technical degree in a chemistry or life science related field. Requires minimum experience of 7-10 years in purchasing, materials management, and/or operations with a minimum of 5 years supervisory or managerial experience. Preferred experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing/or related field a plus. Corporate Site
