Job Description Purchasing Assistant (Instrumentation Logistics) Responsible for assisting the Instrumentation Buyer with purchasing activities associated with instrumentation and spare parts. Additionally, this position will assist the purchasing team with administrative support (i.e., PPI, KBM, supplier scorecards, etc)Primary Responsibilities: Issue, update, and maintain purchase orders based on direction from the Instrumentation Buyer; confirm supplier’s capabilities to meet requirements. Review MPS daily for parts requirements and work on any exceptions. Update the ERP system with real-time data to allow sales and service visibility into incoming product availability. Maintain vendor metric performance including, but not limited to, vendor score cards and on-time delivery.Work cross functionally to execute inventory, service, and supplier returns issues as they arise. Maintain accuracy of the ERP item master and costing. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Must have a customer service mindset with the ability to enhance internal client relationships. Experience with MPS/MRP is preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Education: NoneJob Level: Entry Level
