Responsibilities:

Facilitate the entire process for developing, monitoring, and executing the Strategic Publication Plan. This will include the following: Coordinate and facilitate Strategic Publication Team meetings to develop 5 year publication strategies and objectives Facilitate all Tactical Publication Team meetings Review manuscripts in preparation to ensure consistency with brand strategic objectives Oversee the entire development of individual publications; master timeline and budget process Manage vendors Work directly with Medical and Marketing and Managed Markets personnel to coordinate/facilitate special projects (Publication Advisory Groups, etc). Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Authors/Opinion Leaders via scientific interactions at major congresses/conferences, etc

The successful candidate will  have:

*  An advanced scientific degree preferred (MS, PhD, PharmD, MD),

*  2-5 years or more publication writing and planning experience via an agency or pharmaceutical co.

*  Ability to assess writing quality & alignment with overall strategy

*  Outstanding  interpersonal communication skills and project management skills

*  Ability to interact with KOL's, authors & editors

*  Strong business acumen
