Project Manager, PMO

POSITION SUMMARY:

This individual works closely with internal clients to define requirements, specification design, and systems development/implementation management in a fast-paced environment for medium to high complexity of projects.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manages technology development and integration in support of marketing support applications and services.

· Serves as liaison between multiple stakeholders, internal to include, Sales/Account Executives, IT, Q/C, Operations and Client Services and external parties such as carriers and third party data services providers.

· On certain complex projects may have direct client contact to establish requirements and performance indicators and provide status.

· Builds effective business relationships: Interfaces clients and various outside vendors

· Continually maintains internal client focus:  Ensures internal clients deliverables are met in timely and quality manner

· Oversees multiple project and prioritizes as needed

· Produces status reports both for internal use and for internal clients

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university with a concentration in Information Technology

MBA a plus

 

Business Experience:   3-5 years proven IT project management experience

3-5 years experience work in or for a PMO

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

· PMI certified PMP a must

· Demonstrated experience utilizing a Software / System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) management

· Experience with PDMA / HIPAA client web application development for healthcare provider services

· Proficiency in MS Project

· MS Suite, including Visio

· Pharmaceutical or direct mail industry business knowledge a definite plus
