Metropolitan Research Associates (MRA) is a therapeutically focused Contract Research Organization (CRO) that offers Clinical Trials Management Services and Functional Pharmacovigilance Services. MRA has been an established CRO since 1995 and has a very experienced team providing these services to the pharmaceutical industry. MRA is seeking a Project Manager to fill direct-hire positions in Research Triangle Park, NC.
Description Summary:
The Project Manager will effectively lead the project team, ensuring on-time, within budget, quality performance, and delivery of projects.
Essential Functions:Function as primary liaison between the sponsor and MRA Facilitate all communication with the sponsor to assure understanding of expectations and scope of work Communicate project status and timelines to project team and sponsor Set and measure metrics Anticipate, recognize and resolve issues Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of assigned clinical trial programs on behalf of MRA Lead and manage the efforts of all key functional departments to perform all project-related activities according to project milestones Manage the project budget and specifications to ensure project goals are achieved according to sponsor expectations Prepare weekly status reports for sponsor Prepare monthly status reports for monthly project review meetings Willingness to travel up to 30%.
Education and Experience:Bachelor's level degree from an accredited university/college in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing or RN preferred 3+ years of project management experience in the Pharmaceutical/CRO industry Experience working on a team across multiple functional areas Strong knowledge of clinical trial operations, Good Clinical Practice/ICH Guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements Demonstrated ability to successfully lead others Excellent communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi task Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook)
