Programmer Analyst I (08-81)
Synteract is a full-service contract research organization (CRO), dedicated to meeting the various clinical development needs of the biotechnology, medical device, and pharmaceutical industries. We have provided clinical trial services on several hundred studies on over 40,000 patients to over 80 commercial clients, including all phases and across a wide range of therapeutic areas, such as oncology, cardiovascular, ophthalmology, CNS, and virology. We are located atop the beautiful flower fields of Carlsbad, in North San Diego County.DescriptionThe Programmer Analyst will focus on the testing of Interactive Voice-Response (IVR) systems to manage clinical trials. You will provide technical support services for IVR, troubleshoot and resolve software related problems, and develop, test, and validate IVR o support client-related projects and third-party applications. You will also follow and enforce standards for data integrity and data security.Required SkillsQualified candidates will possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (B.S.) or equivalent. Some applicable experience desired, not required. Basic understanding of computer operating systems, Internet programming languages such as Java, ASP, HTML, Visual Basic Script, and other programming languages such as SAS, Perl, C, C++ required. Intermediate proficiency in both Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel a must. Experience with Access desired but not required.Join our multi-talented team!
