Program / Network Support Representative   Work Location:  Not Applicable     Shifts:  Not Applicable     Positions Available:  1   Position Summary   Under general supervision of the Technical Services Manager, supports PDX Pharmacy Software for Independent Pharmacies by resolving network and hardware related issues to the PDX software.  Will be the first point of contact for customers experiencing software and hardware issues.    Primary Duties and Responsibilities   Telephone support for the PDX Pharmacy software, hardware and network issues for problems reported to the help desk by the SystemsRx retail phamacies and/or the ABC sales representatives. Assist with Host functions. Configuring DSL and Cisco routers Assist in Pharmacy Data Services Upgrading pharmacy software Interacts regularly with external contacts  Interacts regularly with internal contacts  Assists with daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly communications. Performs related duties as assigned.   Experience and Education Requirements Requires broad training in fields such as Customer Service, Technical Support or Help Desk roles.Normally requires one (1) to two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible experience; Associate Arts Degree, Registered Pharmacy Technician with PBM, Retail Pharmacy experience or a combination of Pharmacy network and or contracting background preferred. Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements   Strong computer skills in order to operate effectively with company systems and programs; knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access Experience with UNIX/SCOUnix OS and Suse Linux Experience with Networking configurations PDX Pharmacy knowledge and/or retail pharmacy experience beneficial but not required.
