Professional Sales Specialist
Overview: The Territory Manager is responsible for establishing, promoting and maintaining a high level of sales of dermatological products for Medicis. Working within an established territory, this position serves as a sales representative to dermatologists and podiatrists providing them with product information, superior customer service and support.
Responsibilities: Promote and sell Medicis products to current and potential customers
Initiate specific courses of action to increase sales and market share for specific products
Communicate with customers in a clear and effective manner
Build internal and external relationships; establish credibility and rapport with customers
Organize and schedule tasks, develop realistic goals and action plans
Deal with unresolved situations, frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
Possess the ability to travel and work outside of the parameters of 8am to 5pm when required
Document all activities and progress
Qualifications: BA/BS in marketing, sales, business administration or a related field is required
Experience (2-4 years) in direct and/or outside sales
Pharmaceutical sales experience is highly desired and will be given first consideration
Must have demonstrated selling skills
High personal motivation and a sense of urgency
Strong oral and written communication skills
Customer service orientation
Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
*This is a part-time position that will require 3 work days per week.
