Professional Education Specialist

 

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

As a Professional Education Specialist specializing in clinical homeopathy, you are communicating to and educating healthcare professionals. As well as working as a Professional Education Specialist your responsibility is to sell Boiron products in a prescribed manner to physicians, retail pharmacies and other members of the healthcare industry.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Charts review and makes recommendations regarding medications, dosing and drug interactions to customers Provides additional training to customers to maximize their use and benefit of Boiron productsDefines, creates and delivers new professional service offerings intended to maximize customers' value from their use of Boiron products Participates in professional shows  Develops effective relationships with clients Communicates with the sales team including Regional Account Managers, Inside Medical Consultants and other Medical Consultants Provides temporary medical consulting for vacant territoriesOn a monthly basis provides an audit of manufacture records and interviews key personnel to ensure compliance with state, federal and local regulations, as well as to comply with company policy and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ø Must have a D. Pharm. degree

Ø Knowledge of FDA regulations on homeopathy

Ø 2-4 years of sales/marketing experience preferable with dermatologists, plastic surgeons or family practitioners

Ø Minimum of 5 years homeopathic practice

Ø Clear understanding of medical policies and sales procedures

Ø Computer Proficiency – experienced with developing and presenting data in spreadsheets and word processing (MS Excel and Word)

Ø Must be able to provide feedback to management

Ø Valid driver’s license

Ø Ability to travel to domestic (primarily) and international (occasionally) locations (up to 20% travel required), which may include overnight and/or weekend travel

Ø Fluent in French (Preferred)
