We are among a select group of staffing companies to be named to the Fortune 1000. Summary: This position is responsible for supporting board, transducer, and system level production test and debug. Performs a variety of tasks associated with the production of ultrasonic therapy system and transducers. Primary Responsibilities: • Utilizes both manual and automated tests to perform board, transducer, and system level testing to ensure product quality and reliability in accordance with company requirements. • Conducts acoustic power output tests of therapy devices and systems in accordance with company requirements. • Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs boards, transducers, and electro/mechanical devices. • Replace circuit board components using superior soldering skills and standard rework equipment. • Perform rework and repair with strict adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. • Installs and configures component and system software. • Maintains adherence to production, test, and quality system procedures. Retrieves procedures from corporate database. The ideal candidate for this job will have experience with printed circuit board level test, printed circuit board level rework, module level functional test, and end item functional test for capital equipment. Additionally, we need an individual who is capable of troubleshooting printed circuit boards down to the component level. Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Requirements: Position Requirements • Able to work with minimal supervision. • A self-motivated and meticulous individual, able to work in a team and small company environment. • An AA degree in Engineering Sciences or equivalent, and approximately three years experience within a production test environment. • Hands-on experience with typical electronics test equipment. • Proficiency in the repair and test of electro/mechanical medical devices. • Proficient, solid understanding of fault isolation techniques for digital and analog circuitry. • Must effectively communicate and have the ability to read and comprehend written technical instructions. • Must have excellent work ethics, personal responsibility, initiative, and teamwork. • Must have good analytical and problem solving skills. • Strong PC skills required – Word, Excel, etc. • Able to lift and carry a minimum of 25 lbs with or without accommodations. • Ability to work standing or walking for an entire shift. Troubleshooting printed circuit boards to the component level.
