Production Scheduler - Tablet Value Stream (2007051)

DescriptionReporting to the Allegan Tablet Scheduling Group, the individual in this position is responsible for analyzing production requirements in terms of priorities and lead times, and for planning and arranging schedule sequence to best meet assigned priorities. The individual will tabulate and project department lead times, as well as maintain current and complete schedules or job order status. Responsibilities include scheduling and directing the work at the Plant 7 Tablet Packaging Plant.Required SkillsHigh school diploma or GED required. Degree or coursework in business, supply chain management or related field preferred. Previous experience with production processes required. Computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Word and Excel required. Knowledge of MRP and Supply Chain background highly preferred. Previous experience in production planning and scheduling highly preferred. APICS certification preferred.
