About Adhezion Biomedical
Adhezion Biomedical, LLC is a privately-held medical device company focused on the development and commercialization of highly differentiated cyanoacrylate based surgical, wound management and infection prevention technologies. The vision of the Adhezion team is to redefine the way cyanoacrylate based surgical adhesives and sealants are used in medicine. We are seeking intelligent, progressive, and creative professionals to join our team.
Adhezion is currently seeking an individual with a background in the medical device field and familiarity with the U.S. acute care disposables market to launch and manage our Professional Products platform. The Product Manager for Professional Products will lead the development and implementation of the business plan for our Professional Product Platform, including product planning and product marketing activities. This position reports to the Vice President of Global Marketing.
Responsibilities
Business leadership of franchise – Manage the product line as a business, working with various functional areas within the company, helping to develop strategy and drive execution. Provide input to strategic plan. R&D Project Team Partner – Provide customer input to product enhancements and new product development efforts. Provide marketing leadership to product development teams. Ensure that products meet global customer needs. Clinical Affairs Partner – Serve as marketing representative for clinical and regulatory affairs project teams. Ensure that activities meet business objectives and provide support to team as needed. Marketing Programs – Develop and execute integrated marketing plan, including:
- planning and execution of new product launches
- product positioning
- programs, tools and collateral to support the US sales organization
- ensuring proper internal review (e.g. Regulatory, Legal, Clinical) of all materials is conducted
- input to and execution of full line channel programs
- supporting sales training activities
- monitoring competitive activity
- reviewing medical literature
- effective utilization of market research to investigate, challenge, support or validate hypotheses about product/ market
Field Focus – spend significant time in the field (20-30%) with salespersonnel, physicians and other customers. Represent our customer duringall internal meetings. Develop and implement programs to facilitate meaningfuland productive relationships with Key Customers. Logistics Partner – work with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure adequate inventory to support product introductions. Monitor sales results and adjust production forecasts accordingly to minimize back orders. Comply with applicable FDA and international regulatory laws/standards and the Adhezion Biomedical Code of Conduct. Support Global requirements where required. Other duties asassigned or required.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree – Masters preferred 5+ years experience in marketing of medical devices Experience with a product that is sold to surgeons adefinite plus. Wound closure experience a plus 5+ years of progressive marketing experience to includebranding, product management. Launch experience a plus Sales experience a plus
