 Product Manager, OrthoBiologics

 

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for supporting the US marketing activities as they relate to Integra OrthoBiologic products for spine surgery and general orthopedic surgery. 

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 

Support & manage the creation of promotional and labeling material that includes but is not limited to:Product brochuresWebsite contentJournal advertisementsPackaging and labeling design

 

Support selling activities of the sales force by:Developing product and procedure training materialsCreating on-line training programsConduct training sessions at basic sales training, national sales meetings, and distributor trainingProviding day-to-day technical support Facilitating customer service

 

Assist with development of marketing strategies and marketing tactics by:Participating in the development of worldwide strategic and operating market planAnalyzing historical salesMonitoring inventory positionsIdentifying new technologies and markets associated with biomaterials for orthopedic applications.Using results from internally driven market research to help guide new product positioning & pricing strategies

 

Support existing product lines by:Pursuing product line extensions & labeling revisionsIdentifying potential key opinion leaders that can help with the collection of clinical data demonstrating product performance.Maintaining a strong presence of each product line in the market through a highly visible presence and public relations at national and international conferences and meetings.Forecast product sales and provide manufacturing with guidelines for production planning.

 

Anticipated level of travel in the field – up to 40% of time

 

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.2 - 5 years experience in product development, product marketing and/or direct product management experience.Preferably prior work experience in the medical device industry with a focus on orthopedic spine applications, either instrumentation and/or biologics.Competent interpersonal and relationship management skillsAbility to work collaboratively and independently in a cross-functional and team oriented environmentCompetent oral and written skills (both in groups and one-on-on interaction)Competent analytical skills.Demonstrated ability to achieve deliverable results.B.S. / M.S. or equivalent knowledge and experience; MBA strongly desired.
