Visit us at www.bio-rad.com Position Responsibilities: This position is a key member of a team of Product Managers who support and promote Bio-Rad's line of Diabetes products. This position will work with colleagues to develop strategic and tactical marketing plans, participate in market research projects, manage product lines and participate in the development of the 5 year strategic marketing plan for the Diabetes Business Unit. This position interfaces with Manufacturing and R&D as well as the selling subsidiaries. This position will continue on-going efforts in the areas of branding, product improvements and subsidiary support. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the subsidiaries to increase sales and assure customer satisfaction. Education: BS or equivalent in a life science discipline required. MBA or MS/PhD preferred.Experience: 5+ years marketing products in the in vitro diagnostics or life science industry. Experience in the Diabetes market preferred.Skills: Successful candidate must have demonstrable skills in product management and strategic planning. Experience in sales is a plus. Additionally, the candidate must have a broad understanding of the technologies important to the market today (including Immunoassay and HPLC). Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
