The Product Director - Knee Marketing will have demonstrated skills in dealing successfully with customers, preferably in the health care / medical device sector, as well as be able to manage projects effectively, especially in a matrix environment. The Product Director - Knee Marketing will be able to create and execute marketing and/or sales plans with demonstrated share gains. They will have strong teamwork and networking capabilities as well as demonstrated capabilities successfully managing a product / brand. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. A Master's level degree is preferred. A minimum of 6 years of experience in sales and marketing is required preferably in the medical device, biotechnology, pharmaceutical or healthcare consumer product industry. Orthopaedics industry experience is highly desirable. Strong written and oral communications skills are required as well as strong presentation skills and interpersonal skills. Experience interfacing with surgeons and nurses would be preferable.Classic marketing skills such as segmentation, positioning, marketplace assessment, and/or brand marketing are required. A Healthcare Education background, such as Nursing, physical therapy or Physicians Assistant is desirable. Experience working in a hospital environment is a plus. Successful candidates must have demonstrated experience building strong partnerships between cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, clinical, regulatory, operations, and/or other key functional stakeholders to deliver business objectives. Quantitative and data analysis experience are also required. The ability to develop strong customer relationships is required. Experience developing business plans is required. Good Organizational Skills are also required. Must have the ability to influence without authority. Experience with collaboration, influencing without authority and working across cross-functional teams is preferred. Must be able to work within an ambiguous environment. This position requires working with cadavers, and working in an Operating Room setting. This position requires 30% travel domestically including weekends. This position is located in Warsaw, Indiana.
