Currently, we have a great opportunity for a highly motivated professional to be responsible for the maintenance, enhancement, support, and security of the organizations enterprise ECM systems. This position will work closely with other IT groups on system architecture, integration, deployment, policy development, functionality and regulatory compliance related to ECM and Portal systems.

Specifically, you will:

• Act as system administrator of enterprise applications such EDMS and Portal servers. Amylin currently uses Live Link
• Assist in the execution of necessary validation protocols or other applicable testing and documentation procedures
• Maintain proper configuration management and change control of system
• Work with system manufacturers and vendors to resolve issues
• Stay abreast of current technologies and industry best practices
• Maintain the development and enhancement of document management processes, procedures, guidelines, and standards, and creation of quality control program and procedure
• Act as third level support analyst for escalated service desk incidents and problems
• Facilitate end user, help desk, or peer training when necessary
• Prepare system disaster recovery plans and backup procedures
• Development of automated procedures to improve administration efficiency
• Work closely with Systems Management, IT Software Development, and Network Engineering on the deployment and support strategy of new systems

REQUIREMENTS:

• A BA/BS in a relevant technical field
• 5+ years of technical hands on experience with ECM systems such as Open Text or Documentum including installation of the system and modules
• 2-3 years of technical experience with portal servers such as WebSphere, Vignette, or EMC
• Experience with collaboration tools
• Experience working with SAN and Blade environment
• Strong general knowledge of systems architecture, to include database servers, web servers (iPlanet / Apache), load balancing/failover/clustering/high availability concepts, and network security
• Strong knowledge of enterprise search design, administration, and support
• Basic Oracle and/or SQL database query and navigation (SQL), Active Directory/ Windows security, and HTML/Java skills
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
