You will be joining a team of Development Scientists in Cambridge, MA and working at the R & D interface to develop and implement drug delivery strategies early in the project life cycle. This will include close interactions with Translation Medicine and Pharmaceutical Development experts. Additional responsibilities will include developing collaborations with academia and technology companies. You will be responsible for evaluating and implementing technologies including: new materials, polymer systems for oral delivery, parenteral depot delivery, non invasive delivery of peptides and proteins, oligonucleotide delivery, ocular delivery systems as well as targeted delivery. You will be leading local and global scientific teams to accomplish the technology objectives.QualificationsEducation: Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry or related field.Experience: 7+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, academia or other relevant experience. Recognized expert and leader in drug delivery technology. Broad and in-depth scientific/technical knowledge of drug product development. Proven track record of innovative project contributions including peer-reviewed publications and patents. Experience in addressing complex drug delivery issues across R&D line functions. Ability to work independently and leading multidisciplinary teams. Flexibility to work in a dynamic R&D environment and excellent oral and written communication skills.
