Plant Engineer

Mission

To implement long-term profitability strategy for all capital expenditures through process engineering and operation support in order to reach Plant objectives.

 

ResponsibilityTo manage projects that sustain and/or improve the ethanol production process or to comply with external mandatory requirements.To support plant operational, technical and engineering needs in achieving the goals of the production process.

 Essential Job FunctionsManage the execution and compliance of project budget according to established budgetary control procedures and to take the appropriate corrective actions if variance is detected.Model, recommend and coordinate the implementation of process modifications.Support plant operational, technical and engineering needs in achieving the goals of the production process.Participate in establishing preventive/predictive maintenance procedures in order to maintain and improve operational reliability.Lead and provide support to ABC for all aspects of the 6-sigma program.

Education:  Bachelors degree in engineering

Job Location:  Office environment and production floor (Indoors and Outdoors)

Physical Requirements:  Lift up to 30 lbs, up to 10% of working hours waist high.  Sensory requirements needed are hearing, listening, speaking, and seeing, up to 100% of the working hours.  Telephone, computer and electronic equipment use is required.
