For more information visit us at www.kellyscientific.com The ideal candidate will independently perform maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, calibration, repair, and training on a variety of liquid handling devices, to include: Pipettes, Bottle top dispensors, and simmilar items.Responsibilities:Calibrate, troubleshoot,test and repair pipettes of various manufacturers. Work to be performed in our lab, and at customer locations in the Boston/Worcester MA areas. Occational overnight travel is a possibility.Provide technical expertise to other group members, as well as assisting users on set up, configuration, and proper use and care of equipment.Review existing Standard Operating Procedures for adequacy, and modifiesSOPs in accordance with established document control procedures.Required skills:High school diploma (Associate''''s degree or technical diploma preferred).2+ years experience in Metrology/Calibrations, preferably in a GMPenvironment.In depth experience with pipette calibrations.Experience with technical documentation.Knowledge of cGMPs is preferred.Ability to balance multiple projects.Visual ability adequate to read and prepare documents, use computer andcalibrate/maintain equipment.Ability to lift 40 lbs.Manual dexterity needed to manipulate equipment to perform metrology duties.Efficient work habits and a acute attention to detail.Good verbal/written communication skills.Computer literacy.To be considered for this position, please click on "Apply Now".
