Pharmacy Technician

Are you a Certified Pharmacy Technician looking for a new, professional opportunity? If so, Adler's Pharmacy has the position for you!Primary job functions are but not limited to:1. Under a pharmacist's supervision, fill prescription orders.2. Reorders or notifies staff or appropriate personnel of medication and/or supply needs. Monitors back-order requests.3. Responsible for filling bulk products, blister packs, putting away the order, and staging deliveries, as well as, deliver.4. Remove and sort by work function the delivery bags or totes and equipment from return area inside pharmacy. Ensure proper dispensation of returned medication items for proper outlet.5. Courteously assists all customers, internal and external. 6. Maintain neat, clean and organized work place at all times to avoid contamination.7. All other duties as assigned.Education, Qualifications & Skills1. Pharmacy Technician certification required.2. Valid Drivers License3. Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred. 4. Previous pharmacy or a health care setting experience preferred.5. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.6. Excellent customer service skills.7. Working knowledge of pharmacy computer systems.8. Ability to perform accurately and efficiently when imputing information.9. Basic math and analytical skills.10. Possess and obtain knowledge of drug names - generic and trade. Ability to recognize subtle differences in names and numbers.
